I had 2 super special moments that I will never forget. The first was when my mom saw me in my wedding dress for the first time the day of the wedding. We both started crying. The second special moment was when I walked down the isle and my new husband saw me for the first time. He started crying and the he next moment my mother and I started crying as well.
Yes we did. A very short honeymoon. My mom booked us in at Webersburg Guesthouse in Stellenbosch for a 2 night stat. Best 2 days ever.
My dress was designed by the wonderful Tracey Goodchild from Tracey's Bridal. I went for a ivory lace dress with pearls all over. I had a "Frozen" braid wil pearls and hair pins I inherited from my aunt. My mom bought me my pearl necklace that was my something new. Something borrowed was pearl earrings from my gran. Something old was the hair pins as well as my bracelet I got for our first anniversary. And something blue was my very AWESOME naby blue wedge shoe with a cute bow.
We got married at the beautiful Mayerskraal in Wellington. We had a intimate wedding with only 40 guests. Most guest stayed very close and those who came from far stayed in guesthouses in the area. We stayed at Le Bac Guesthouse.
