The most memorable moment was the first kiss as husband and wife. This is a memory that will forever last!
We travelled to tne Eastern Cape. We spent a few days in East Londen. After our couple of days spent in East Londen we travelled to Dordrecht the "Platteland" side of the Eastern Cape. Here we spent two days on the farm in a little house built of stones. We then travelled to Queenstown my town of birth. Here we spent a couple of days with my gran who could not come to the wedding.
We got married in Kenmare ,Krugersdorp at a private venue.
For our wedding I did not do anything special beauty wise. I tried to go all natural. I wanted my husband to still know who I was the Sunday after. My look was vintage.
My decor was all DIY! I spent almost 2 years making decor. I went for the vintage look...
"Less is more" was my motto... and my centre piece was my candy bar.
My husband and his best man were dressed in pink and khaki, with a bow tie and ofcourse "vellies". They where dressed out of Pick and Pay clothing and Woolies.
My cousin was my bridesmaid and she was dressed in a infinity dress. The dress was a vintage pink colour. Her hairstyle was a bohemian hairstyle.

Family of our's married us... it was a very special ceremony
I had 2 photographers on the day. They captured all my special moments... moments I did not even know of!
I had no wedding planner and did all of the planning with my mother and mother in law.
We had a lovely spitbraai... with all the traditional South African salads and veggies. My uncle and my aunt where the caterers.
I made all my stationary myself.
