Our wedding day was one to remember. It was everything we wanted and more! From when my girls arrived to when we fell asleep that night it was amazing! The highlight of my day was seeing my husband as soon as i came around the corner to walk down the aisle I was a nervous wreck but slowly calmed down and so did he.
The venue, the decor, the photographer, the food, the dj but most of all the guests made it the most memorable day ever.
Unfortunately we did not due to uncontrollable circumstances, but we do plan to in the near future!
So my wedding look was something from the past with a few new extras! Originally we had planned our wedding for November 2014 but unfortunately we had to cancel! I had already chosen my dream dress, the white one! So that was from then, I then found my new favorite wedding designer, Hayley Paige and fell inlove with one of her amazing dresses so I had it made for me by a bridal store in Alberton called Touch of Class Dress Boutique & MissTeeq - Bridal and Evening wear
Hair and makeup was done by the most amazing and talented woman I can think of in her line of work, Roslyn Faber owner of Schwish Hair Simbithi.
The shoes were my choice entirely. I went for comfort and style with a touch of sparkle! And I ended up getting them at Rubi from Cotton On!!!
And lastly the jewelry! Wow that was a big big surprise, because of our wedding back in 2014 my husband had already got me a stunning set of matching earings and necklace from swaski which I intended on wearing! But come the wedding morning my husband had a much bigger surprise for me... I got a special delivery with these giant balloons and a brown gift bag. I was told to read the note first and then open the gift and to no one's surprise I couldn't even read the first line without crying! So I had mom do it. Never did I think my husband was that romantic but I was so wrong! After the "Love letter" I got to open the box, inside was the most amazing pair of Tanzanite earrings and matching necklace from Browns. My husband was told by the jewler that it is a guardian angel set and that was why he chose that set for me.
We had our wedding at Eagles Cry - Weddings & Conferences in Tongaat, Ballito. We had a few guest stay the night at the venue.
Our decor was my kind of fairy tale together with the lighting, flowers and the venue it made my dreams come to life. The decor and flowers where done by Lou , owner of KZN flower girls. She really out did her self with everything.
I had my groom in a fitted dark blue suit and his brown leather shoes. His tie and tie pin was my grandads that passed away in the begining of the year. And the groomsmen had the same colour pants with the same shoes and tie, only diffence was the shirts. I let them go a big more casual by rolling the sleeves up!
My bridemaids were a bit more difficult to dress, I had asked them to pay for there own dresses so getting what I wanted made me worry a bit as I know I have very expensive taste. We eventually all agreed on this stunning rose gold long dress with a back that hangs down into a U shape. I had them made by Lisa at Touch of Class Dress Boutique & MissTeeq - Bridal and Evening wear. They turned out amazing!
The shoes and jewelry where so simple! One of my bridemaids ended up finding the perfect pair of sandles from Pick n Pay clothing believe it or not! And she also gave me a great idea to get these stunning rose gold chokers for the girls.
They really were so stunning!!!
Our photographer was amazing! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! Lauren owner of Lauren Oliver Photography was the photographer at our wedding.
I never hear the end of how amazing our food was and I couldn't agree more! Penny, owner of Signature Caterings Wedding Cakes and Confectionaries did our food and our cake. She really out did her self!
The party! Wow that was fun. We had such a great DJ, such a nice guy from www.topjocks.co.za. Greig really got the party going and knew just what to play and the right time.
