Michael came into my life unexpectedly, he swept me off my feet and I fell in love with the man of my dreams and the father of my children.
He asked me to marry him on Mothers Day holding our son with a baby grow printed on "Will you marry my Daddy?"
We did everything the wrong way around but for us it was the right thing at the right time. It will only make sense for us. We became parents, and then married. It is our Love Story and it's my favorite.
There are a few highlights of my wedding, one was walking out of the church with my husband, we used white feathers for confetti which if special to me as my son passed this year and I believe feathers appear when angels are near. The other highlight was “you may kiss the bride” My husband has a way of making me feel like the only girl in the world when he kisses me.
We were not fortunate enough to go on honeymoon due to financial circumstances and work. We both only have leave in December.
My best friend was my bridesmaid and I had very special flower girls. One of which was my daughter who walked me down the isle, I was not only marrying the man of my dreams but she got a new daddy so the day was just as special for her.
We used a local friend as our photographer, Liana Hildebrand. She has done numerous photo shoots for us and therefor it was special to have her as a guest at our wedding too. Yes, we had a photo booth which was too much fun!
