My husband and I have been engaged for two years before we decided to finally tie the knot.
Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. Our chosen venue was a country manor house in the KZN Midlands. We wanted to create a holiday weekend away for our guests - especially since my husband and I love travelling.
The planning was absolutely challenging. We had many "casualties" along the way with many "friends" and family pulling out. However, we also had many friends who turned into family and family that made our day so special and memorable.
We would definitely encourage a long engagement to ensure the planning process runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
We were blessed in every way to celebrate such a turn out but more so, unforgettable memories.
