The absolute highlight of my day was walking down the aisle with my dad to 5 crying men (my husband, my brother-in-law, my brother and 2 friends) and my dad was also crying. By the looks of it there was not one dry eye in the room. It was absolutely stunning.
We have not been on honeymoon yet, but we are actually leaving in 3 days for Durban. We are taking a road trip to Durban and from there we are going on the MSC Sinfonia. I can not wait for Saturday to come.
Our overall wedding look was elegant rustic. My hair was done by my lovely sister and it came out beautifully and believe it or not, there was not one fight between us. My dress was made by Elizabeth Stockenstrom and my shoes was blush pink from Imaani.

We got married at Blomfontein outside Cradock in the Eastern Cape. It was a far road to travel so all of my guests stayed over for the night.
I really did not worry about dieting or spa treatments etc. A few months before our wedding I fell in love with yoga so that was my only exercise that I actually did.
My decor was done by tannie Kobie Joubert. A lovely tannie. We enjoyed her conversations so much. She did our flowers with a glass of J&B in the hand and it looked absolutely stunning. She knew what I wanted before even meeting me.
The groomsmen wore charcoal colored trousers and a cream undercoat with a blush pink tie. My husband wore exactly the same but with a jacket as well.
My bridesmaids wore infinity blush pink/nude dresses and each of them could have chosen their own dress style as well as hairstyle. Therefore they basically designed their own look. They wore flat white sandals.
Actually, my father-in-law married us. It was his dream to marry his eldest son, so therefore we wanted to make his dream come true.
I only had a photographer as the videographer and photographer usually gets in each others way. Leze Hurter captured our special moments and the photos that I have seen so far is gorgeous!
My mother basically organised everything for our big day and she knew exactly what I wanted.
As we were at the venue it was no need for transport.
