One of the most memorable moments for me was when my father saw me the first time he could not believe it was me and he shed a little tear. When me and my father walked into the church my husband began to cry when he saw me walking down the aisle. I wil never forget that.
We went to Mauritius for our honeymoon!
My whole wedding look was "karoo". My hair was done by Chantelle Visser and she gave me a "karoo upstyle" with "woestynrosies" in my hair. She also did my makeup with a natural look and brown and bronze eyeshadow. My wedding dress was made by tying the knot bridal boutique. Definitely my dream dress!

We got married in Laingsburg on Excelsior farm. We use the shed for our reception. Some of our guests stayed at Herambi and Hillandale in Laingsburg.
We did our own flowers, it was succulants to fit in with the "karoo theme" as well as proteas for some colour. The colour of the wedding was lavender. We also had little windmills on the table as center pieces. The roof had fairy lights and white draping.
The groomsmen were wearing grey pants, a white shirt with brown shoes, a brown belt as well as brown suspenders.
The bridesmaids were wearing a mauve infinity wrap dress with lace. Their earings was from Lovisa and I gave them a bracelet with "strooinooi" written on it. I ordered it from help 'n bruidjie.
