We are a pretty relaxed couple. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends but love
Sundays on the couch cuddled up with a Netflix documentary.
We have been dating for 3 years.
Steve had planned a trip away for the weekend down the South Coast but the location
ended up being terrible with an uneasy sleep on night one. On the Saturday morning, he
said that we should head home and that it’s not worth staying another night. Very discretely
he put together a plan B with the help of my mom. Since it was pouring with rain, he casually
suggested to me we should do a fancy picnic in his lounge. We got dressed up, set up
cushions, blankets, flowers, champagne and fairy lights all over the floor together. Once
everything was ready, he suggested we take some photos. We took the first one and Steve
said we needed to retake it. I turned around and he was down on one knee. I couldn’t have
been happier.
We had decided not to do one but then after booking with Wade he said we had gotten a
complimentary engagement shoot. We were over the moon.
We shot at the roof top parking of the Royal Hotel and in front of City Hall.
I am not sure, I wanted to have the sunrise light with a classic city feel and for it to just be
fun. I had seen pictures on Pinterest and had always wanted to do something like this with
Steve.
Steve knew what sort of shape I liked and put the rest together himself.

We are getting married at Kearsney Manor which has the most beautiful old manor house
and are excited for a weekend filled of disco balls, family and friends celebrating.
