Welcome to our favourite little shed of all time!

Creatives, fans of all things pretty and people who live close to Stellenbosch- take note- we've found our new favourite creative home!

The Styling Shed is situated in a revived farm shed dating back from 1931, a truly unique space to create and draw inspiration from. Located on a breathtaking working farm in the beautiful Stellenbosch, this place is created around the dream of hosting workshops and invites guests to creative experiences where the aim is to deepen your understanding of styling, exploring your own creativity and beautiful everyday living.

It's a place where makers come to share their artistic thinking, where creatives come to create and collaborate and where extraordinary experiences are formed in unique ways.

The Bridal Bouquet Masterclass

The Bridal Bouquet

The SA Weddings team were recently treated to a day discovering our talents in flower arranging around the ultimate 'bridal bouquet' creation. Offering both a practical session for both beginner florists and the everyday creative, lead by Leipzig Floral Design's team - this was a Saturday for the books!

This workshop was designed for the everyday creative, who perhaps wishes to create her own bridal bouquet for her big day. Perhaps even the beginner florist who wishes to gain some hands-on, practical experience, focusing on creating one beautiful bridal bouquet, whilst also socialising and having fun. Sounds like our perfect weekend!

From tea and coffee with muffins on arrival, to those extra small touches of berried water and all your tools and individual flowers laid out beautifully before you begin- the team behind Styling Shed sure do run a very slick programme. After we'd created our bridal bouquet and moved on to the second bridesmaid's version- we had some spare time to create a few more looks, for fun, to best make use of all the left-over flowers. With all the practical 'work' behind us, we then headed next door for a beautiful farm-style lunch break where the socialising and chatting continued and our pretty mess that we'd created inside The Styling Shed, magically dissapeared.

Information for these workshops are provided via their website and although these are various, varied workshops, with most being hosted by The Styling Shed, however a few others are also presented and organised by external hosts – such as the Styled Sessions – to take place at The Styling Shed. As they don’t only host their own workshops, but also provide the venue to other creatives who wish to host their own workshops within this space. It's too special a place not to share, after all!
