Introducing our incredible photography partner for Bride Of The Year 2016: The supremely talented Louise Meyer
The SA Weddings team is proud to announce our partnership with the ultra-talented and beautiful Louise Meyer as our event photographer for this years Bride Of The Year event. We first met this enigma of a woman in London at The National Bridal Fair and are so excited to be working together again on our biggest annual event to be hosted at the incredible 'Tintswalo at Waterfall' on May 27th.
"I'm Louise Meyer; a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in the the wondrous bushveld of South Africa. There is a profound sense of peace, sky and magic in this place and I am so fortunate to be able to call this place my home!
After a great Military career of thirteen years, I endeavoured on the most exciting photographic journey and found my true passion in capturing moments. Moments of pure joy, spontaneous happiness, commitment and love. I have come to realise in the past 9 years , just how crucial it is for people to conserve and protect important milestones in their lives. Being part of that amazing process is such a honour for me as a photographer and I truly believe that the one thing that turns this world from a lonely place into a place of beauty, is love. Love in any of its forms.
So for the past 9 years I have been blessed out of my shoes to combine my love for the the African bushveld with my passion for wedding photography.
Besides being totally in love with my job, I am also blessed with an amazing husband and two adorable kids! I have a great passion for wildlife conservation in particular the protection of our precious rhinos. Through her years of shooting safari weddings and elopements in the African bush veld, Louise has developed a unique style of integrating the magnificent scenery of the bush with the elegant and romantic energy from her featured couples from all over the world.
This together with her sound knowledge of the bush and the challenging lighting conditions that it so often poses; has allowed her to win international awards and countless published features.
Despite the awards and perks of her talent; she still professes to gets all of her kicks out of the deep rooted soul satisfaction of her couples being blown away by the beauty and the magic of our country and its people!
